The step-forward Eurobook transformation mechanism is similar to the standard Eurobook. To unfold, lift the seat using the strap and pull it toward yourself — the mechanism slides forward and opens the box under the seat. Then fold the backrest down to create a sleeping surface.

Things to note:

• the sofa should not stand flush against the wall to allow backrest tilt
• the feet need silicone or rubber pads to protect the floor

Polyurethane foam – eco-friendly, highly elastic, durable, hypoallergenic; provides firmness and comfort.

Bonnell spring unit – made of hourglass-shaped steel springs connected via frame or wire clips. Built to support heavy loads (over 115 kg), it delivers durability and resilience. It’s soft under light weight but firms up under higher loads, distributing pressure evenly. A felt/padded layer is placed above the springs for comfort and breathability.
